Bed Bug Prep

Preparation can play a major part in the success of any bed bug treatment. By following this checklist before and after treatment, you can increase the success rate of your bed bug treatment.
Pre-treatment
Remove all bedding and clothing from bed and place in sealed bags
Separate mattresses, box springs, and bed frames (place against walls)
Open and empty any drawers in nightstands, side tables, and dressers
Vacuum, sweep, or mop floor of every room scheduled for service
Move large furniture from walls
Remove any posters, pictures, paintings, or flags from wall
Post-treatment
Wash all bedding and clothing from bed sealed in bags in hot water
If encasements were purchased, enclose mattresses and box springs
Wipe down bed frame and any luggage returned to serviced rooms
Wipe down drawers in nightstands, side tables, and dressers
Vacuum, sweep, or mop floor of every room serviced
Inspect all items returned to rooms serviced for evidence of activity
